Isaiah 37:26-29

ECB(i) 26 Heard you not in the distant past, that I worked it? Of ancient days, that I formed it? now I bring it to become, for you to waste fortified cities into desolate heaps. 27 And their settlers are short handed - dismayed and shamed - as the herbage of the field and as the green sprouts; as the grass on the roofs and as the field at the face of the stalks. 28 And I know your sitting and your coming and your going; and your quaking against me: 29 because of your quaking against me your uproar ascends into my ears: I set my hook in your nostrils and my bit in your lips; and I turn you back by the way you came.
