Deuteronomy 6

ECB(i) 1 Now these are the misvoth the statutes and the judgments Yah Veh your Elohim misvahed to teach you - to work in the land you pass over to possess: 2 to awe Yah Veh your Elohim, to guard all his statutes and the misvoth I misvahed you - you and your son and the son of your son all the days of your life; and to prolong your days. 3 Hear, O Yisra El and guard to work; that it well-please you; and as Yah Veh Elohim of your fathers worded to you, that you abound mightily in the land flowing with milk and honey. 4 Hear, O Yisra El! Yah Veh our Elohim is one Yah Veh! 5 And love Yah Veh your Elohim with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your might. 6 And these words, I misvah you this day, become in your heart: 7 and point them out to your sons and word of them when you sit in your house and when you walk by the way and when you lie down and when you rise up: 8 and bind them for a sign on your hand and to become phylacteries between your eyes: 9 and inscribe them on the posts of your house and on your portals. 10 And so be it, when Yah Veh your Elohim brings you into the land he oathed to your fathers - to Abraham, to Yischaq and to Yaaqov, to give you great and goodly cities which you built not, 11 and houses full of all goods which you filled not and hewn wells which you hewed not, vineyards and olive trees which you planted not; and eat and satiate; 12 then guard, lest you forget Yah Veh, who brought you from the land of Misrayim, from the house of servants. 13 Awe Yah Veh your Elohim and serve him and oath by his name: 14 go not after other elohim - of the elohim of the people all around you; 15 for Yah Veh your Elohim is a jealous El in your midst - lest the wrath of Yah Veh your Elohim kindles against you and destroys you from the face of the soil. 16 Test not Yah Veh your Elohim, as in testing, you tested him. 17 In guarding, guard the misvoth of Yah Veh your Elohim and his witnesses and his statutes he misvahed you: 18 and work what is straight and good in the eyes of Yah Veh: that it well-please you and that you go in and possess the good land Yah Veh oathed to your fathers: 19 - to expel all your enemies from your face, as Yah Veh worded. 20 And when your son asks you on the morrow, saying, What mean the witnesses and the statutes and the judgments Yah Veh our Elohim misvahed you? 21 Then you say to your son, We were servants of Paroh in Misrayim; and Yah Veh brought us from Misrayim with a strong hand: 22 and Yah Veh gave signs and omens, great and evil, on Misrayim, on Paroh and on all his household, in front of our eyes: 23 and he brought us out from there to bring us in, - to give us the land he oathed to our fathers. 24 And Yah Veh misvahed us to work all these statutes - to awe Yah Veh our Elohim for our good all days, to preserve us alive, as at this day. 25 And it becomes our justness, when we guard to work all these misvoth at the face of Yah Veh our Elohim, as he misvahed us.
