And so be it, afterward, Ben Hadad sovereign of Aram gathers all his camp and ascends and besieges Shomeron; 25 and there is a great famine in Shomeron: and behold, they besiege it, until the head of a he burro is eighty silver and the fourth qab of dove dungs is five silver. 26 And as the sovereign of Yisra El passes by on the wall, a woman cries out to him, saying, Save, my adoni, O sovereign. 27 And he says, If Yah Veh saves you not, how save I you? From the threshingfloor? Or from the trough? 28 And the sovereign says to her, What ails you? And she says, This woman said to me, Give your son to eat today and eat my son tomorrow: 29 so we stewed my son and ate him: and I said to her on the next day, Give your son, to eat him: and she hid her son.
