20 then I uproot them from my soil which I gave them; and this house I hallowed for my name, I cast from my face and give it to be a proverb and a gibe among all the peoples.
21 And this house, being Elyon, all who pass by, desolate and say, Why works Yah Veh thus to this land and to this house?
22 And they say, Because they forsook Yah Veh Elohim of their fathers who brought them from the land of Misrayim; and laid hold on other elohim and prostrated to them and served them: so he brings all this evil on them.
