ECB⁽ⁱ⁾ ¹³ And the judgment of the priest with the people is, when any man sacrifices sacrifice, that while the flesh stews, the lad of the priest comes with a fork of three teeth in his hand; ¹⁴ and he smites it into the laver or boiler or caldron or skillet; and all that ascends with the fork the priest takes for himself: thus they work to all the Yisra Eliy who come to Shiloh. ¹⁵ And ere they incense the fat, the lad of the priest comes and says to the man who sacrifices, Give the priest flesh to roast; and he takes no stewed flesh from you - only, live. ¹⁶ And the man says unto him, In incensing, incense the fat, as this day, and take as your soul desires. And he says to him, Give it to me now: and if not, I take it by strength. ¹⁷ Wherefore the sin of the lads is mighty great at the face of Yah Veh: because men scorn the offering of Yah Veh.
