In Gibon Yah Veh is seen by Shelomoh in a dream by night: and Elohim says, Ask what I give you.
And Shelomoh says, You worked great mercy to your servant David my father according as he walked at your face in truth and in justness and in straightness of heart with you: and you guarded this great mercy for him in that you gave him a son to settle on his throne as this day:
and now, O Yah Veh my Elohim, you have your servant reign in the stead of David my father: and I am a little lad: I know not to go out or come in:
and your servant is midst your people whom you chose - a great people that can neither be numbered nor scribed for abundance:
give your servant a hearing heart to judge your people - to discern between good and evil: for who is able to judge this - your grievous people?
- and the word well-pleases the eyes of Adonay that Shelomoh asks this word.
And Elohim says to him, Because you ask this word and neither ask many days for yourself, nor ask riches for yourself, nor ask the soul of your enemies; but ask for yourself discernment to hear judgment
behold, I work according to your words: behold, I give you a wise and discerning heart; so that neither is any like you at your face nor any rise like you after you:
