CLV⁽ⁱ⁾ ³ to say to the priests who are in the house of Yahweh of hosts, and to the prophets, saying:Shall I lament in the fifth month, to be sequestered, just as I do this how many years? ⁴ Then the word of Yahweh of hosts is coming to me, saying:" ⁵ Say to all the people of the land, and to the priests, saying, When you fasted and wailed in the fifth and in the seventh months, even this seventy years--did you really fast to Me? ⁶ And when you are eating, and when you are drinking, are you not the eaters, and you the drinkers?
