CLV^{(i) 6} So Moses took the carts and the oxen and gave them to the Levites. ⁷ Two of the carts and four of the oxen he gave to the sons of Gershon corresponding to their service, ⁸ and four of the carts and eight of the oxen he gave to the sons of Merari, corresponding to their service, by means of Ithamar son of Aaron the priest.
