Luke 7:24-27

CLV(i) 24 Now, at John's messengers coming away, He begins to be saying to the throngs concerning John, "What do you come out into the wilderness to gaze at? A reed being shaken by the wind? 25 But what do you come out to perceive? A man garbed in soft garments? Lo! those in glorious vesture and inhering in luxury are among the royal. 26 But what have you come out to perceive? A prophet? Yes, I am saying to you, and exceedingly more than a prophet." 27 This is he concerning whom it is written, 'Lo! I am dispatching My messenger before Thy face, who shall be constructing Thy road in front of Thee.'"
