To the opening of the tent of appointment shall he bring it near for acceptance on his behalf before Yahweh. ⁴ He will support his hand on the head of the ascent offering so that it will be accepted for him to make a propitiatory shelter over him. ⁵ Then he will slay the bull calf of the herd before Yahweh; and the sons of Aaron, the priests, will bring near the blood and sprinkle the blood against the altar round about which is at the opening of the tent of appointment.
