CLV⁽ⁱ⁾ ⁴ By your wisdom and by your understanding You have made for you wealth, And make gold and silver in your treasuries." ⁵ By the abundance of your wisdom, Through your merchandise, You have multiplied your wealth, And high is your heart through your wealth." ⁶ Therefore, thus said the Lord Yahweh:Because of your giving out your heart as the heart of Elohim, ⁷ Therefore, lo, I am bringing in against you strangers, The terrible of the nations, And they have drawn out their swords Against the beauty of your wisdom, And they have pierced your brightness."
