CLV⁽ⁱ⁾ ⁶ You shall not turn aside the judgment of your needy in his contention. ⁷ From a false matter you shall be far; and the innocent and the righteous one you must not kill, for I shall not justify the wicked one. ⁸ You shall not take a bribe, for the bribe is blinding the unclosed eyes and is subverting the words of the righteous. ⁹ You shall not oppress a sojourner, for you know the soul of the sojourner, for you came to be sojourners in the land of Egypt.
