Deuteronomy 32:26-27

CLV^{(i) 26} I would say:I might blow them away, I might eradicate their remembrance from mortals, ²⁷ unless I shrank away from the vexation of the enemy; lest their foes misconstrue, lest they say:Our hand is high, and it was not Yahweh Who contrived all this.
