CAB⁽ⁱ⁾ ¹ Alas for the city of Ariel, which David besieged. Gather your fruits year by year; eat, for you shall eat with Moab. ² For I will grievously afflict Ariel; and her strength and her wealth shall be Mine. ³ And I will compass you round about like David, and will raise a mound about you, and set up towers around you. ⁴ And your words shall be brought down to the earth, and your words shall sink down to the earth, and your voice shall be as they that speak out of the earth, and your voice shall be lowered to the ground.
