BLB⁽ⁱ⁾ ⁴⁰ and saying, “The One destroying the temple and building it in three days, save Yourself! If You are the Son of God, also descend from the cross!” ⁴¹ Likewise also, the chief priests with the scribes and elders, mocking, were saying, ⁴² “He saved others. He is not able to save Himself. He is King of Israel! Let Him descend now from the cross, and we will believe in Him. ⁴³ He trusted on God. Let Him deliver Him now if He wants. For He said, ‘I am the Son of God.’”
