Mark 10:1-12

BLB(i) 1 And from there having risen up, He comes into the region of Judea, and beyond the Jordan. And again crowds come together to Him, and again, as He had been accustomed, He was teaching them. 2 And the Pharisees, having approached, were demanding of Him if it is lawful for a husband to divorce a wife, testing Him. 3 And He answering said to them, “What did Moses command you?” 4 And they said, “Moses permitted to write a roll of divorce, and to send her away.” 5 But Jesus said to them, “He wrote this commandment for you because of your hardness of heart; 6 but from the beginning of creation, ‘He made them male and female.’ 7 ‘On account of this, a man will leave his father and mother and be joined to his wife, 8 and the two will be for one flesh.’ Therefore they are no longer two, but one flesh. 9 Therefore what God has joined together, let man not separate.” 10 And in the house again, the disciples were asking Him concerning this. 11 And He says to them, “Whoever shall divorce his wife, and shall marry another, commits adultery against her. 12 And if a woman, having divorced her husband, should marry another, she commits adultery.”
