8 καὶ (And) παρήγγειλεν (He instructed) αὐτοῖς (them) ἵνα (that) μηδὲν (nothing) αἴρωσιν (they should take) εἰς (for the) ὁδὸν (journey), εἰ (if) μὴ (not) ῥάβδον (a staff) μόνον (only); μὴ (no) ἄρτον (bread), μὴ (nor) πήραν (bag), μὴ (nor) εἰς (in) τὴν (the) ζώνην (belt) χαλκόν (money);
9 ἀλλὰ (but) ὑποδεδεμένους (wearing) σανδάλια (sandals), καὶ (and) μὴ (not) ἐνδύσησθε (put on) δύο (two) χιτῶνας (tunics).
10 Καὶ (And) ἔλεγεν (He would say) αὐτοῖς (to them), “Ὅπου (Wherever) ἐὰν (if) εἰσέλθητε (you enter) εἰς (into) οἰκίαν (a house), ἐκεῖ (there) μένετε (remain) ἕως (until) ἂν (-) ἐξέλθητε (you go out) ἐκεῖθεν (from there).
11 καὶ (And) ὃς (whatever) ἂν (-) τόπος (place) μὴ (not) δέξηται (will receive) ὑμᾶς (you) μηδὲ (nor) ἀκούσωσιν (hear) ὑμῶν (you), ἐκπορευόμενοι (departing) ἐκεῖθεν (from there), ἐκτινάξατε (shake off) τὸν (the) χοῦν (dust) τὸν (which is) ὑποκάτω (under) τῶν (the) ποδῶν (feet) ὑμῶν (of you), εἰς (for) μαρτύριον (a testimony) αὐτοῖς (against them).”
