Mark 5:4 διὰ (because) τὸ (that) αὐτὸν (he) πολλάκις (often) πέδαις (with shackles) καὶ (and) ἁλύσεσιν (chains) δεδέσθαι (had been bound), καὶ (and) διεσπάσθαι (had been torn in two) ὑπ’ (by) αὐτοῦ (him) τὰς (the) ἁλύσεις (chains), καὶ (and) τὰς (the) πέδας (shackles) συντετρῖφθαι (had been shattered), καὶ (and) οὐδεὶς (no one) ἴσχυεν (was able) αὐτὸν (him) δαμάσαι (to subdue).
