1 Peter 5:2-5 ποιμάνατε (Shepherd) τὸ (the) ἐν (among) ὑμῖν (you) ποίμνιον (flock) τοῦ (-) Θεοῦ (of God), ‹ἐπισκοποῦντες› (exercising oversight) μὴ (not) ἀναγκαστῶς (under compulsion), ἀλλὰ (but) ἑκουσίως (willingly), κατὰ (according to) Θεόν (God); μηδὲ (and not) αἰσχροκερδῶς (for base gain), ἀλλὰ (but) προθύμως (eagerly);

BIB⁽ⁱ⁾ ² ποιμάνατε (Shepherd) τὸ (the) ἐν (among) ὑμῖν (you) ποίμνιον (flock) τοῦ (-) Θεοῦ (of God), ‹ἐπισκοποῦντες› (exercising oversight) μὴ (not) ἀναγκαστῶς (under compulsion), ἀλλὰ (but) ἑκουσίως (willingly), κατὰ (according to) Θεόν (God); μηδὲ (and not) αἰσχροκερδῶς (for base gain), ἀλλὰ (but) προθύμως (eagerly); ³ μηδ’ (not) ὡς (as) κατακυριεύοντες (exercising lordship over) τῶν (-) κλήρων (those in your charge), ἀλλὰ (but) τύποι (examples) γινόμενοι (being) τοῦ (to the) ποιμνίου (flock). ⁴ καὶ (And) φανερωθέντος (having been revealed) τοῦ (the) Ἀρχιποίμενος (Chief Shepherd), κομιεῖσθε (you will receive) τὸν (the) ἀμαράντινον (unfading) τῆς (-) δόξης (of glory) στέφανον (crown). ⁵ Ὁμοίως (Likewise), νεώτεροι (younger ones), ὑποτάγητε (be subject) πρεσβυτέροις (to your elders). πάντες (All) δὲ (now) ἀλλήλοις (one to another) τὴν (-) ταπεινοφροσύνην (humility) ἐγκομβώσασθε (gird on), ὅτι (because), “Ὁ (-) Θεὸς (God) ὑπερηφάνοις (the proud) ἀντιτάσσεται (opposes), ταπεινοῖς (to the humble) δὲ (however) δίδωσιν (He gives) χάριν (grace).”
