1. keep, maintain (that is, wrath), of ׳י Jer 3:5; Jer 3:12; Nah 1:2 (with לְ for), Ps 103:9 of Edom Amos 1:11 (reading וַיִּטֹּר לָעַד אַפּוֺ and he kept his anger perpetually, see above).

2. keep, guard a vineyard Song 1:6; Song 1:6 (in figurative), absolute Song 8:11, object פִּרְיוֺ vSong 8:12.
