So אַחֵר alone [Isa 42:8]; [Ps 16:4]. Of time, following, next (rare) ׳בַּשָּׁנָה הָאַ [Gen 17:21] (P) in the next year; [2Kgs 6:29] ׳בַּיּוֺם הָאַ; ׳דּוֺר אַ [Joel 1:3]; [Ps 109:13] in poetry the next generation ([Judg 2:10] in prose = another generation).
