John 16:7-15 But yet I tell you the truth: it is profitable for you that I go away. For if I go not away, the Paraclete will not come to you. But if I go away, I will send him to you.

But if I go away, I will send him to you. ⁸ And when he has come, he will convince the world of sin, and of righteousness, and of judgment. ⁹ Of sin, because they believe not on me; ¹⁰ of righteousness, because I go to my Father, and you see me no more; ¹¹ of judgment, because the prince of this world is judged. ¹² I have yet many things to say to you; but you can not bear them now. ¹³ But when he, the Spirit of the truth, has come, he will guide you into all the truth; for he will not speak of himself; but what he hears, that will he speak, and he will show you things to come. ¹⁴ He will glorify me; for he will take of mine, and show it to you. ¹⁵ All things that the Father has are mine; for this reason I said, that he will take of mine, and show it to you.
