Mark 14:3-8

ACV(i) 3 And while he was in Bethany in the house of Simon the leper, as he sat relaxing, a woman came having an alabaster cruse of ointment of pure spikenard, very valuable. And having broken the alabaster cruse, she poured it on his head. 4 And some were indignant within themselves, saying, Why has this waste of the ointment happened? 5 For this could have been sold for over three hundred denarii, and given to the poor. And they grumbled at her. 6 But Jesus said, Leave her be. Why do ye cause troubles for her? She performed a good work on me. 7 For ye always have the poor with you, and whenever ye may desire ye can do them well, but ye do not always have me. 8 She applied what she had to anoint my body. She did it beforehand for the burial.
