7 Because the carnal mind is enmity against God; for it does not submit itself to the law of God, neither indeed can it;
8 and they that are in the flesh can not please God.
9 But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if indeed the Spirit of God dwells in you. And if any man has not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his.
10 And if Christ is in you, the body indeed is dead because of sin; but the Spirit is life because of righteousness.
11 And if the Spirit of him who raised up Jesus from the dead dwells in you, he who raised up Christ from the dead will also quicken your mortal bodies, because of his Spirit that dwells in you.
12 So that, brethren, we are debtors, not to the flesh, to live according to the flesh.
13 For if ye live according to the flesh, ye shall die; but if by the Spirit ye mortify the deeds of the body, ye shall live.
