^{1 (2:1)} IT is commonly reported that there is fornication among you, and such fornication as is not among the gentiles, that a man should have his father's wife.

²⁰ but to send to them to abstain from things sacrificed to idols, and fornication, and things strangled, and blood.

¹¹ For I have been informed of you, my brothers, by the family of Chloe, that there are contentions among you.

¹⁸ Avoid fornication. Every crime that a man commits is out of his body; but he that commits fornication sins in his body.
