¹ And thou shalt say in that day, O Lord, I will prayse thee: though thou wast angrie with me, thy wrath is turned away, and thou comfortest me.

¹ Nowe when all these things shall come vpon thee, either the blessing or the curse which I haue set before thee, and thou shalt turne into thine heart, among all the nations whither the Lord thy God hath driuen thee, ² And shalt returne vnto the Lord thy God, and obey his voyce in all that I commaund thee this day: thou, and thy children with all thine heart and with all thy soule, ³ Then the Lord thy God wil cause thy captiues to returne, and haue compassion vpon thee, and wil returne, to gather thee out of all the people, where the Lord thy God had scattered thee.

⁵ For he endureth but a while in his anger: but in his fauour is life: weeping may abide at euening, but ioy commeth in the morning.

¹ A Psalme of Dauid, when he changed his behauiour before Abimelech, who droue him away, and he departed. I will alway giue thankes vnto the Lord: his praise shalbe in my mouth continually. ² My soule shall glory in the Lord: the humble shall heare it, and be glad. ³ Praise ye the Lord with me, and let vs magnifie his Name together. ⁴ I sought the Lord, and he heard me: yea, he deliuered me out of all my feare. ⁵ They shall looke vnto him, and runne to him: and their faces shall not be ashamed, saying, ⁶ This poore man cryed, and the Lord heard him, and saued him out of all his troubles. ⁷ The Angel of the Lord pitcheth round about them, that feare him, and deliuereth them. ⁸ Taste ye and see, howe gratious the Lord is: blessed is the man that trusteth in him. ⁹ Feare the Lord, ye his Saintes: for nothing wanteth to them that feare him. ¹⁰ The lyons doe lacke and suffer hunger, but they, which seeke the Lord, shall want nothing that is good. ¹¹ Come children, hearken vnto me: I will teache you the feare of the Lord. ¹² What man is he, that desireth life, and loueth long dayes for to see good? ¹³ Keepe thy tongue from euill, and thy lips, that they speake no guile. ¹⁴ Eschewe euill and doe good: seeke peace and follow after it. ¹⁵ The eyes of the Lord are vpon the righteous, and his eares are open vnto their crie. ¹⁶ But the face of the Lord is against them that doe euill, to cut off their remembrance from the earth. ¹⁷ The righteous crie, and the Lord heareth them, and deliuereth them out of all their troubles. ¹⁸ The Lord is neere vnto them that are of a contrite heart, and will saue such as be afflicted in Spirite. ¹⁹ Great are the troubles of the righteous: but the Lord deliuereth him out of them all. ²⁰ He keepeth all his bones: not one of them is broken. ²¹ But malice shall slay the wicked: and they that hate the righteous, shall perish. ²² The Lord redeemeth the soules of his seruants: and none, that trust in him, shall perish.

God be mercifull vnto vs, and blesse vs, and cause his face to shine among vs. Selah. ² That they may know thy way vpon earth, and thy sauing health among all nations. ³ Let the people prayse thee, O God: let all the people prayse thee. ⁴ Let the people be glad and reioyce: for thou shalt iudge the people righteously, and gouerne the nations vpon the earth. ³⁴ Let heauen and earth praise him: the seas and all that moueth in them. ³⁵ For God will saue Zion, and builde the cities of Iudah, that men may dwell there and haue it in possession. ³⁶ The seede also of his seruants shall inherit it: and they that loue his name, shall dwel therein.

¹⁵ Yea, he shall liue, and vnto him shall they giue of the golde of Sheba: they shall also pray for him continually, and dayly blesse him. ¹⁶ An handfull of corne shall be sowen in the earth, euen in the toppe of the mountaines, and the fruite thereof shall shake like the trees of Lebanon: and the children shall florish out of the citie like the grasse of the earth. ¹⁷ His name shall be for euer: his name shall indure as long as the sunne: all nations shall blesse him, and be blessed in him. ¹⁸ Blessed be the Lord God, euen the God of Israel, which onely doeth wonderous things. ¹⁹ And blessed be his glorious Name for euer: and let all the earth be filled with his glorie. ¹ To him that excelleth. A Psalme committed to the sonnes of Korah. Lord, thou hast bene fauourable vnto thy land: thou hast brought againe the captiuitie of Iaakob. ² Thou hast forgiuen the iniquitie of thy people, and couered all their sinnes. Selah. ³ Thou hast withdrawen all thine anger, and hast turned backe from the fiercenes of thy wrath.

⁶ Let the high Actes of God bee in their mouth, and a two edged sword in their hands, ⁷ To execute vengeance vpon the heathen, and corrections among the people: ⁸ To binde their Kings in chaines, and their nobles with fetters of yron, ⁹ That they may execute vpon them the iudgement that is written: this honour shall be to all his Saintes. Prayse ye the Lord.

¹¹ The hie looke of man shall be humbled, and the loftinesse of men shalbe abased, and the Lord onely shall be exalted in that day.

⁴ Without me euery one shall fall among them that are bound, and they shall fall downe among the slayne: yet for all this his wrath is not turned away, but his hand is stretched out still.

²⁵ But yet a very litle time, and the wrath shall be consumed, and mine anger in their destruction.

¹⁰ And in that day the roote of Ishai, which shall stand vp for a signe vnto the people, the nations shall seeke vnto it, and his rest shall be glorious. ¹¹ And in the same day shall the Lord stretche out his hand againe the second time, to possesse the remnant of his people, (which shalbe left) of Asshur, and of Egypt, and of Pathros, and of Ethiopia, and of Elam, and of Shinear, and of Hamath, and of the yles of the sea.

¹⁶ And there shalbe a path to the remnant of his people, which are left of Asshur, like as it was vnto Israel in the day that he came vp out of the land of Egypt.

³ And in that day when the Lord shall giue thee rest from thy sorrow, and from thy feare, and from the sore bodage, wherein thou didest serue,

¹ O Lord, thou art my God: I will exalt thee, I will prayse thy Name: for thou hast done wonderfull things, according to the counsels of old, with a stable trueth.

⁹ And in that day shall men say, Loe, this is our God: we haue waited for him, and he wil saue vs. This is the Lord, we haue waited for him: we will reioyce and be ioyfull in his saluation.

¹ In that day shall this song be sung in the land of Iudah, We haue a strong citie: saluation shall God set for walles and bulwarkes.

¹ In that day the Lord with his sore and great and mightie sword shall visite Liuiathan, that pearcing serpent, euen Liuiathan, that crooked serpent, and he shall slay the dragon that is in the sea. ² In that daye sing of the vineyarde of redde wine. ³ I the Lord doe keepe it: I will water it euery moment: least any assaile it, I will keepe it night and day.

¹² And in that day shall the Lord thresh from the chanell of the Riuer vnto the riuer of Egypt, and ye shalbe gathered, one by one, O children of Israel. ¹³ In that day also shall the great trumpet be blowen, and they shall come, which perished in the land of Asshur: and they that were chased into the lande of Egypt, and they shall worship the Lord in the holy Mount at Ierusalem.

¹⁰ Therefore the redeemed of the Lord shall returne and come to Zion with prayse: and euerlasting ioy shall bee vpon their heads: they shall obteine ioye and gladnesse, and sorow and mourning shall flee away.

¹ Comfort ye, comfort ye my people, will your God say. ² Speake comfortably to Ierusalem, and crye vnto her, that her warrefare is accomplished, that her iniquitie is pardoned: for she hath receiued of the Lords hand double for all her sinnes.

¹³ Reioyce, O heauens: and bee ioyfull, O earth: brast foorth into praise, O mountaines: for God hath comforted his people, and will haue mercie vpon his afflicted.

³ Surely the Lord shall comfort Zion: he shall comfort all her desolations, and he shall make her desert like Eden, and her wildernes like the garden of the Lord: ioy and gladnesse shalbe founde therein: praise, and the voyce of singing.

⁸ For a moment, in mine anger, I hid my face from thee for a litle season, but with euerlasting mercy haue I had compassion on thee, sayth the Lord thy redeemer.

¹⁵ For thus sayth he that is hie and excellent, he that inhabiteth the eternitie, whose Name is the Holy one, I dwell in the high and holy place: with him also that is of a contrite and humble spirite to reuiue the spirite of the humble, and to giue life to them that are of a contrite heart. ¹⁶ For I will not contende for euer, neither will I be alwayes wroth, for the spirite should fayle before me: and I haue made the breath. ¹⁷ For his wicked couetousnesse I am angry with him, and haue smitten him: I hid mee and was angry, yet he went away, and turned after the way of his owne heart. ¹⁸ I haue seene his wayes, and wil heale him: I wil leade him also, and restore comfort vnto him, and to those that lament him.

¹⁸ Violence shall no more be heard of in thy land, neither desolation, nor destruction within thy borders: but thou shalt call saluation, thy walles, and praise, thy gates. ¹⁹ Thou shalt haue no more sunne to shine by day, neither shall the brightnesse of the moone shine vnto thee: for the Lord shall be thine euerlasting light, and thy God, thy glorie.

¹³ As one whom his mother comforteth, so will I comfort you, and ye shall be comforted in Ierusalem.

¹⁸ I haue heard Ephraim lamenting thus, Thou hast corrected me, and I was chastised as an vntamed calfe: conuert thou me, and I shalbe conuerted: for thou art the Lord my God. ¹⁹ Surely after that I conuerted, I repented: and after that I was instructed, I smote vpon my thigh: I was ashamed, yea, euen confounded, because I did beare the reproch of my youth. ²⁰ Is Ephraim my deare sonne or pleasant childe? yet since I spake vnto him, I still remembred him: therefore my bowels are troubled for him: I wil surely haue compassion vpon him, saith the Lord.

²⁴ According to their vncleannes, and according to their transgressions haue I done vnto the, and hid my face from them. ²⁵ Therefore thus sayth the Lord God, Nowe will I bring againe the captiuitie of Iaakob, and haue compassion vpon the whole house of Israel, and wil be ielous for mine holy Name, ²⁶ After that they haue borne their shame, and all their transgression, whereby they haue transgressed against me, whe they dwelt safely in their land, and without feare of any. ²⁷ When I haue brought them againe from the people, and gathered them out of their enemies landes, and am sanctified in them in the sight of many nations, ²⁸ Then shall they know, that I am the Lord their God, which caused them to be led into captiuitie among the heathen: but I haue gathered them vnto their owne land, and haue left none of them any more there, ²⁹ Neither wil I hide my face any more from them: for I haue powred out my Spirit vpon the house of Israel, sayth the Lord God.

¹ Come, and let vs returne to the Lord: for he hath spoyled, and he will heale vs: he hath wounded vs, and he will binde vs vp.

⁸ Howe shall I giue thee vp, Ephraim? howe shall I deliuer thee, Israel? how shall I make thee, as Admah? howe shall I set thee, as Zeboim? mine heart is turned within mee: my repentings are rouled together.

⁴ Asshur shall not saue vs, neither wil we ride vpon horses, neither will we say any more to the worke of our handes, Ye are our gods: for in thee the fatherlesse findeth mercie. ⁵ I wil heale their rebellion: I wil loue them freely: for mine anger is turned away from him. ⁶ I will be as the dewe vnto Israel: he shall grow as the lilie and fasten his rootes, as the trees of Lebanon. ⁷ His branches shall spread, and his beautie shalbe as the oliue tree, and his smell as Lebanon. ⁸ They that dwel vnder his shadow, shall returne: they shall reuiue as the corne, and florish as the vine: the sent thereof shalbe as the wine of Lebanon. ⁹ Ephraim shall say, What haue I to doe any more with idoles? I haue heard him, and looked vpon him: I am like a greene firre tree: vpon me is thy fruite founde. [ (Hosea 14:10) Who is wise, and he shall vnderstande these things? and prudent, and he shall knowe them? for the wayes of the Lord are righteous, and the iust shall walke in them: but the wicked shall fall therein. ]

⁹ And the Lord shall bee King ouer all the earth: in that day shall there bee one Lord, and his Name shalbe one.

²⁰ In that day shall there be written vpon the bridles of the horses, The holinesse vnto the Lord, and the pottes in the Lords house shall be like the bowles before the altar.

¹⁵ For if the casting away of them be the reconciling of the world, what shall the receiuing be, but life from the dead?

³ And they sung the song of Moses the seruant of God, and the song of the Lambe, saying, Great and marueilous are thy workes, Lord God almightie: iust and true are thy wayes, King of Saints. ⁴ Who shall not feare thee, O Lord, and glorifie thy Name! for thou onely art holy, and all nations shall come and worship before thee: for thy iudgements are made manifest.

¹ And after these things I heard a great voyce of a great multitude in heauen, saying, Hallelu-iah, saluation, and glorie, and honour, and power be to the Lord our God. ² For true and righteous are his iudgements: for he hath condemned that great whore, which did corrupt the earth with her fornication, and hath auenged the blood of his seruants shed by her hand. ³ And againe they saide, Hallelu-iah: and that her smoke rose vp for euermore. ⁴ And the foure and twentie Elders, and the foure beastes fell downe, and worshipped God that sate on the throne, saying, Amen, Hallelu-iah. ⁵ Then a voyce came out of the throne, saying, Prayse our God, all ye his seruants, and ye that feare him, both small and great. ⁶ And I heard like a voyce of a great multitude, and as the voyce of many waters, and as the voyce of strong thundrings, saying, Hallelu-iah: for the Lord that God that almightie God hath reigned. ⁷ Let vs be glad and reioyce, and giue glory to him: for the marriage of that Lambe is come, and his wife hath made her selfe ready.
