¹ And the lot for the tribe of the sons of Judah according to their families was to the border of Edom, even to the wilderness of Zin southward, at the outermost part of the south.

⁵⁵ Notwithstanding, the land shall be divided by lot. They shall inherit according to the names of the tribes of their fathers. ⁵⁶ According to the lot their inheritance shall be divided between the many and the fewer.

³⁶ And they journeyed from Ezion-geber, and encamped in the wilderness of Zin (the same is Kadesh). ³⁷ And they journeyed from Kadesh, and encamped at mount Hor, in the edge of the land of Edom.

³ then your south quarter shall be from the wilderness of Zin along by the side of Edom. And your south border shall be from the end of the Salt Sea eastward. ⁴ And your border shall turn about southward of the ascent of Akrabbim, and pass along to Zin. And the goings out of it shall be southward of Kadesh-barnea. And it shall go forth to Hazar-addar, and pass along to Azmon. ⁵ And the border shall turn about from Azmon to the brook of Egypt, and the goings out of it shall be at the sea.

¹⁹ And the south side southward shall be from Tamar as far as the waters of Meriboth-kadesh, to the brook of Egypt, to the great sea. This is the south side southward.
