So have it go back ten steps." ¹¹ So Isaiah cried out to the LORD, who brought the shadow back ten steps after it had gone down the stairway of Ahaz. ¹² At that time Merodoch Baladan, son of Baladan king of Babylon, sent letters and a present to Hezekiah, because he had heard that Hezekiah was sick. ¹³ Hezekiah listened to them, and showed them all the house of his precious things, the silver, the gold, the spices, the precious oil, the house of his armour and all that was found in his treasures: there was nothing in his house, nor in all his dominion, that Hezekiah didn't show them.
