1 What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin, that grace may abound?
2 By no means. How shall we, who are dead to sin, live in it any longer?
3 Do you not know, that all of us who were baptized into Christ Jesus were baptized into his death?
4 Therefore, we were buried with him by baptism into death: so that as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also might walk in newness of life.
5 For if we have been united with him by sharing a death like his, so shall we also share a resurrection like his:
6 Knowing this, that our old man has been crucified with him, that the body of sin might be destroyed, that henceforth we should no longer be enslaved by sin.
