Genesis 47:13-25 And there was no bread in all the land ; for the famine was very sore , so that the land of Egypt and all the land of Canaan fainted by reason of the famine.

14 H3130 And Joseph H3950 gathered up [H8762] H3701 all the money H4672 that was found [H8737] H776 in the land H4714 of Egypt H776 , and in the land H3667 of Canaan H7668 , for the corn H7666 which they bought [H8802] H3130 : and Joseph H935 brought [H8686] H3701 the money H6547 into Pharaoh's H1004 house.

15 H3701 And when money H8552 failed [H8799] H776 in the land H4714 of Egypt H776 , and in the land H3667 of Canaan H4714 , all the Egyptians H935 came [H8799] H3130 unto Joseph H559 , and said [H8800] H3051 , Give [H8798] H3899 us bread H4191 : for why should we die [H8799] H3701 in thy presence? for the money H656 faileth [H8804] .

16 H3130 And Joseph H559 said [H8799] H3051 , Give [H8798] H4735 your cattle H5414 ; and I will give [H8799] H4735 you for your cattle H3701 , if money H656 fail [H8804] .

17 H935 And they brought [H8686] H4735 their cattle H3130 unto Joseph H3130 : and Joseph H5414 gave [H8799] H3899 them bread H5483 in exchange for horses H6629 , and for the flocks H4735 , and for the cattle H1241 of the herds H2543 , and for the asses H5095 : and he fed [H8762] H3899 them with bread H4735 for all their cattle H8141 for that year.

18 H8141 When that year H8552 was ended [H8799] H935 , they came [H8799] H8145 unto him the second H8141 year H559 , and said [H8799] H3582 unto him, We will not hide [H8762] H113 it from my lord H3701 , how that our money H8552 is spent [H8804] H113 ; my lord H413 also hath H4735 our herds H929 of cattle H7604 ; there is not ought left [H8738] H6440 in the sight H113 of my lord H1472 , but our bodies H127 , and our lands:

19 H4191 Wherefore shall we die [H8799] H5869 before thine eyes H127 , both we and our land H7069 ? buy [H8798] H127 us and our land H3899 for bread H127 , and we and our land H5650 will be servants H6547 unto Pharaoh H5414 : and give [H8798] H2233 us seed H2421 , that we may live [H8799] H4191 , and not die [H8799] H127 , that the land H3456 be not desolate [H8799] .

20 H3130 And Joseph H7069 bought [H8799] H127 all the land H4714 of Egypt H6547 for Pharaoh H4714 ; for the Egyptians H4376 sold [H8804] H376 every man H7704 his field H7458 , because the famine H2388 prevailed [H8804] H776 over them: so the land H6547 became Pharaoh's.

21 H5971 And as for the people H5674 , he removed [H8689] H5892 them to cities H7097 from one end H1366 of the borders H4714 of Egypt H7097 even to the other end thereof.

22 H127 Only the land H3548 of the priests H7069 bought he [H8804] H3548 not; for the priests H2706 had a portion H6547 assigned them of Pharaoh H398 , and did eat [H8804] H2706 their portion H6547 which Pharaoh H5414 gave [H8804] H4376 them: wherefore they sold [H8804] H127 not their lands.

23 H3130 Then Joseph H559 said [H8799] H5971 unto the people H7069 , Behold, I have bought [H8804] H853 H3117 you this day H127 and your land H6547 for Pharaoh H1887 : lo H2233 , here is seed H2232 for you, and ye shall sow [H8804] H127 the land.

24 H8393 And it shall come to pass in the increase H5414 , that ye shall give [H8804] H2549 the fifth H6547 part unto Pharaoh H702 , and four H3027 parts H2233 shall be your own, for seed H7704 of the field H400 , and for your food H1004 , and for them of your households H398 , and for food [H8800] H2945 for your little ones.

25 H559 And they said [H8799] H2421 , Thou hast saved our lives [H8689] H4672 : let us find [H8799] H2580 grace H5869 in the sight H113 of my lord H6547 , and we will be Pharaoh's H5650 servants.
