John 20:2-9 So she runs and comes to Simon Peter and to the other disciple, whom Jesus loved, and she says to them, “They have taken away the Lord out of the tomb, and we do not know where they have laid Him.”

BLB⁽ⁱ⁾ ² So she runs and comes to Simon Peter and to the other disciple, whom Jesus loved, and she says to them, “They have taken away the Lord out of the tomb, and we do not know where they have laid Him.” ³ Therefore Peter and the other disciple went forth and were coming to the tomb. ⁴ Now the two were running together, and the other disciple ran ahead faster than Peter and came to the tomb first. ⁵ And having stooped down, he sees the linen cloths lying there; but he did not enter. ⁶ Then Simon Peter also comes, following him, and he entered into the tomb and sees the linen cloths lying there, ⁷ and the soudarion that was upon His head, not lying with the linen cloths, but having been folded up in a place by itself. ⁸ So then the other disciple, the one having come to the tomb first, also entered; and he saw and believed. ⁹ For not yet did they understand the Scripture that it behooves Him to rise out from the dead.
