Romans 9:29 Καὶ (And), καθὼς (as) προείρηκεν (foretold) Ἠσαΐας (Isaiah): “Εἰ (If) μὴ (not) Κύριος (the Lord) Σαβαὼθ (of Hosts) ἐγκατέλιπεν (had left) ἡμῖν (us) σπέρμα (descendants), ὡς (like) Σόδομα (Sodom) ἂν (-) ἐγενήθημεν (we would have become), καὶ (and) ὡς (like) Γόμορρα (Gomorrah) ἂν (-) ὡμοιώθημεν (we would have been made).”
