¹³ Enter ye in at the strait gate; for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be who go in thereat:

² and saying, Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is at hand:

⁸ Bring forth therefore fruits becoming: penitents: and do not say within your selves,

² And Jesus calling to Him a little child, set it in the midst of them, ³ and said, Verily I declare unto you, unless ye be converted, and become like little children, ye shall never enter into the kingdom of heaven.

¹³ But wo unto you scribes and pharisees, hypocrites, who shut up the kingdom of heaven against men: for ye neither go in yourselves, nor suffer those that are entering to go in.

⁴¹ Then will He say also to those on the left hand, Depart from me, ye cursed, into everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his angels:

⁴⁶ And these shall go away into everlasting punishment: but the righteous into life everlasting.

³³ And as they were departing from Him, Peter said unto Jesus, Master, it is good for us to be here, let us make three tabernacles, one for Thee, and one for Moses, and one for Elias: not knowing what he said.

²⁴ But He said unto them, Strive to enter in at the strait gate; for I tell you, many will desire to enter in, and shall not be able. ²⁵ When the master of the house shall have risen up and shut the door, and ye begin to stand without and knock at the door saying, Lord, Lord, open unto us; and He shall answer and say to you, I know you not, whence ye are:

³³ So, every one of you, that doth not give up all that he hath, cannot be my disciple.

⁹ I am the door: by me if any man enter in, he shall be saved; and shall go in and out, and find pasture.

⁶ Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, and the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father but by me.

³⁸ And Peter said unto them, Repent and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ, for the remission of your sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the holy Spirit: ³⁹ for the promise is to you and to your children, yea and to all that are afar off, even as many as the Lord our God shall call. ⁴⁰ And with many other words did he press and exhort them, saying, Save yourselves from this perverse generation.

¹⁹ Repent therefore and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out: that seasons of refreshing may come upon you from the presence of the Lord;

⁹ "What then are we the better?" Not at all, in point of justification; for we have before proved that both Jews and Gentiles are all under sin: as it is written, ¹⁰ "There is none righteous, no not one; ¹¹ there is none that understandeth; there is none that seeketh after God. ¹² They are all gone out of the way, they are become unprofitable, there is none that practiseth goodness, no not one. ¹³ Their throat is an open sepulchre: with their tongues they have used deceit; the poison of asps is under their lips: ¹⁴ whose mouth is full of cursing and bitterness: ¹⁵ their feet are swift to shed blood: ¹⁶ destruction and misery are in their ways: ¹⁷ and the way of peace they have not known; and the fear of God is not before their eyes." ¹⁸ Now we know that whatsoever the law saith, ¹⁹ it saith to those under the law: that every mouth may be stopped, and all the world obnoxious to the justice of God.

²² And what if God, though resolved to shew his displeasure at last, and to make known his power, yet bore with much long-suffering the vessels of wrath fitted to destruction?

⁴ among whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of the unbelieving, so that the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, doth not shine unto them:

¹⁷ Wherefore, "come out from the midst of them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch no unclean thing," and I will receive you:

²⁴ And they, that are Christ's, have crucified the flesh with it's passions and desires.

² in which ye formerly walked after the manner of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that still operates in the children of disobedience: ³ among whom also we were all conversant heretofore in our carnal desires, indulging the appetites of the flesh and of our imaginations; and were by nature children of wrath, even as others.

¹⁹ whose God is their belly, and whose glory is in their shame; who mind earthly things) For our conversation is in heaven,

⁸ with his mighty angels, in flaming fire, taking vengeance on those who know not God, and who obey not the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ: ⁹ who shall be punished with everlasting destruction, by the presence of the Lord and by his glorious power:

¹⁷ For the time is coming when judgement is to begin at the house of God: and if at us first, what will be the end of those that obey not the gospel of God? ¹⁸ And if the righteous be saved with difficulty, where shall the ungodly and the sinner appear?

¹⁹ We know that we are of God, and the whole world lieth under the wicked one.

⁹ And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the devil and Satan, who deceiveth the whole world: he was cast down to the earth, and his angels were cast down with him.

⁸ So that all who dwell upon the earth shall worship him, whose names are not written in the book of life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world.

³ and cast him into the bottomless pit, and shut him up, and set a seal upon him, that he might deceive the nations no more, till the thousand years be finished: and then he must be loosed for a little time.

¹⁵ And whosoever was not found written in the book of life, was cast into the lake of fire.
