²¹ And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call his name Jesus, for he shall save his people from their sins.

¹³ but the angel said unto him, Fear not, Zacharias; for thy prayer is heard, and thy wife Elisabeth shall bear thee a son, and thou shalt call his name John:

³¹ and behold thou shalt conceive in thy womb, and shalt bring forth a son, and shalt call his name JESUS:

³⁵ And the angel answered and said unto her, The holy Spirit shall come upon thee, and the power of the Most High shall overshadow thee, and therefore thine holy offspring shall be called the Son of God: and lo, ³⁶ thy cousin Elisabeth also hath conceived a son in her old age, and this is the sixth month with her that was called barren;

¹¹ that this day is born, in the city of David, your Saviour Christ the Lord.

²¹ And when eight days were fulfilled for the circumcising of the child, his name was called JESUS, having been so called by the angel before He was conceived in the womb.

²⁹ The next day John seeth Jesus coming towards him, and saith, Behold the Lamb of God that taketh away the sin of the world.

²⁶ and to you first God having raised up his son Jesus, sent Him to bless you; in your turning away every one of you from your iniquities.

¹² And there is salvation in no other; for there is no other name under heaven given among men, by which we can be saved.

³¹ Him hath God exalted with his right hand as a prince and saviour, to give repentance to Israel, and remission of sins:

²³ Of this man's seed, according to the promise, hath God raised up to Israel Jesus the Saviour:

³⁸ Be it known therefore unto you, brethren, that through Him is preached unto you the remission of sins: ³⁹ and by Him every one that believeth is justified from all things, from which ye could not be justified by the law of Moses.

²⁵ Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church, and gave up Himself for it: ²⁶ to sanctify and cleanse it with the washing of water by the word, ²⁷ that He might prepare it for Himself a glorious church, not having spot or wrinkle, or any such thing: but that it should be holy and unblameable.

²⁰ and by Him to reconcile all things to Himself, having made peace by the blood of his cross; by Him only, whether they be things on earth, or things in heaven. ²¹ And you that were formerly alienated, and enemies in your mind by wicked works, ²² yet now hath He reconciled in the body of his flesh, through death, to present you holy, and unblameable, and unreproveable in his sight: ²³ if so be ye continue grounded and settled in the faith, and be not moved from the gospel, which ye have heard, and which hath been preached throughout the whole creation, of which I Paul am a minister.

¹⁴ who gave Himself for us, that He might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify to Himself a peculiar people, zealous of good works.

²⁵ wherefore also He is able to save to the uttermost, those that come unto God by Him, seeing He ever liveth to make intercession for them.

⁷ but if we walk in the light, as He is in the light, we have communion with one another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin.

¹ My little children, I write these things unto you, that ye may not sin. And if any man sin, we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous. ² And He is the propitiation for our sins; and not for ours only, but also for the sins of the whole world.

⁵ And ye know that He was manifested, to take away our sins: and in Him there is no sin.

⁵ and from Jesus Christ, who is the faithful witness, the first-born from the dead, and the ruler of the kings of the earth. To Him that loved us, and washed us from our sins in his own blood, ⁶ and hath made us kings and priests to his God and Father, to Him be glory and dominion for ever and ever. Amen.

¹⁴ And I said unto him, Sir, thou knowest. And he said to me, These are they who come out of great affliction, and have washed their robes, and made them white in the blood of the Lamb.
