⁹ then perhaps it may bear fruit; if not, afterwards cut it down.

² every branch in me that beareth not fruit He taketh away, and every one that beareth fruit, He purgeth, that it may bear more fruit.

¹⁵ who both killed the Lord Jesus, and their own prophets, and have persecuted us; who are displeasing to God, and contrary to all men:

⁸ but that which bringeth forth thorns and briars, is rejected and near to a curse, (whose end is burning) so are they.

³ And they sing the song of Moses the servant of God, and the song of the Lamb, saying, "Great and marvellous are thy works, Lord God almighty; just and true are thy ways, O king of saints: who should not fear thee, ⁴ O Lord, and glorify thy name? for thou only art holy: and all the nations shall come and worship before thee; for thy righteous judgements are made manifest."

⁵ And I heard the angel of the waters saying, Righteous art Thou, O Lord, who art, and who ever wast; and who art holy, for Thou hast ordered these things: because they have shed the blood of saints and prophets, ⁶ and thou hast given them blood to drink; for they are worthy. ⁷ And I heard another from the altar, saying, Yea, O Lord God almighty, true and just are thy judgements.
