³⁷ Happy are those servants, whom the master when he cometh shall find watching: verily I say unto you, that he will gird himself, and make them sit down, and will come and serve them.

⁴² Watch therefore, for ye know not at what hour your Lord cometh:

⁴⁵ Who then is the faithful and prudent servant, whom his lord hath set over his family to give them food in due season? ⁴⁶ blessed is that servant, whom his lord when he cometh shall find so employed: ⁴⁷ verily I tell you, that he will set him over his whole estate.

²⁰ And he who had received the five talents came and brought to him five talents more, saying, Sir, thou deliveredst to me five talents, behold I have gained other five talents to them: ²¹ and his lord said to him, Well done, my good and trusty servant, thou hast been faithful in a few things, I will set thee over many, enter into thy master's joy. ²² And he also who had received the two talents came to him and said, Lord, thou deliveredst to me two talents, behold I have gained two other talents with them: ²³ his lord said to him, Well done, good and faithful servant, thou hast been faithful in a few things, I will set thee over many, enter into the joy of thy lord.

⁴³ Happy is that servant, whom his lord, when he cometh, shall find so doing.

⁸ But will he not rather say to him, Get ready my supper, and gird thyself, and wait upon me, till I have done, and afterwards thou shalt eat and drink.

³⁶ Watch therefore and be constant in prayer, that ye may be counted worthy to escape all these things, which shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man.

²⁶ If any man would serve me, let him follow me; and where I am, there shall also my servant be: and if any one serve me, him will my Father honour.

⁴ riseth from supper, and turneth aside his clothes, and took a towel and tied it about Him; ⁵ and then pouring water into a bason, began to wash the feet of his disciples, and to wipe them with the towel wherewith He was girded.

⁹ But as it is written, "Eye hath not seen, and ear hath not heard, nor have entered into the heart of man, what things God hath prepared for those that love Him."

²¹ For to me to live is Christ, and to die is gain: and if I live in the flesh, this is the fruit of my labor:

²³ for I am in a strait betwixt two, having a desire to depart, and to be with Christ, which is much preferable:

⁷ I have fought the good fight, I have finished my race, I have kept the faith. ⁸ As to what remains, there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, will give me in that day: and not to me only, but also to all those who have longed for his appearance.

¹ The elders that are among you I exhort, who am also an elder and a witness of the sufferings of Christ, and a partaker of the glory which shall be revealed; feed the flock of God that is among you, ² taking the episcopal charge of it, not by constraint, but willingly; not for shameful lucre, but with a ready mind: ³ nor as lording it over the people, but being examples to the flock. ⁴ And when the sovereign Shepherd shall appear, ye shall receive an unfading crown of glory.

¹¹ For so an entrance shall be administered unto you abundantly into the everlasting kingdom of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.

¹⁴ Wherefore, beloved, seeing ye expect these things, give diligence to be found of Him in peace, spotless and blameless;

²¹ To him that overcometh I will grant to sit with me on my throne, as I also have overcome, and am set down with my Father on his throne.

¹⁷ For the Lamb, that is in the midst of the throne, shall feed them, and shall lead them to fountains of living waters: and God will wipe off every tear from their eyes.

³ and they sung as it were a new song before the throne; and before the four living ones, and the elders: and none could learn the song, but the hundred and forty four thousand, who are redeemed from the earth. ⁴ These are they who were not defiled with women; for they are virgins: these are they who follow the Lamb whithersoever He goeth: these were redeemed from among men, as the first-fruits unto God and the Lamb.

¹³ And I heard a voice from heaven, saying unto me, Write, Blessed are the dead, that die in the Lord, from henceforth: yea, saith the Spirit, for they rest from their labors and their works do follow them.
