²² After these things came Jesus, and his disciples into the land of Judea: and He stayed with them there, and baptized.

¹³ For the passover of the Jews was near, and Jesus went up to Jerusalem. And He found in the temple those that sold oxen,

²⁶ And they came to John, and said unto him, Rabbi, He that was with thee on the other side Jordan, to whom thou barest testimony, behold, He baptizeth and all the people come to Him.

¹ Therefore when the Lord knew, the pharisees had heard that Jesus made and baptized more disciples than John, ² (though Jesus Himself did not baptize, but his disciples,) ³ He left Judea, and departed again into Galilee.

³ his brethren therefore said, Depart from hence, and go into Judea, that thy disciples there also may see the works which thou performest.
