³ And these things will they do unto you; because they have not known the Father, nor me.

²² All things are delivered to me by my Father: and none knoweth who the Son is, but the Father: and who the Father is, but the Son; and he to whom the Son pleaseth to reveal Him.

¹⁹ Then said they unto Him, Where is thy Father? Jesus answered, Ye neither know me, nor my Father: if ye had known me, ye would have known my Father also.

⁵⁵ And yet ye know him not; but I know Him: and if I should say, That I know Him not, I shall be like you, a liar: but I know Him, and obey his word.

²¹ But all these things will they do unto you, on my account, because they know not Him that sent me.

²³ He that hateth me, hateth my Father also.

³ and this is life eternal, to know Thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom thou hast sent.

²⁵ O righteous Father, the world indeed hath not known Thee: but I have known Thee, and these have known that Thou hast sent me.

⁸ which none of the rulers of this age knew; for if they had known it, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory.

³ And if our gospel also be veiled, it is to those that perish; ⁴ among whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of the unbelieving, so that the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, doth not shine unto them: ⁵ for we preach not ourselves, but Christ Jesus the Lord, and ourselves your servants for the sake of Jesus. ⁶ For God, who commanded light to shine out of darkness, hath shined into our hearts, to reflect the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ.

⁸ with his mighty angels, in flaming fire, taking vengeance on those who know not God, and who obey not the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ:

¹⁰ and wonders, and with all iniquitous fraud, among those that shall perish; because they received not the love of the truth, by which they might be saved. ¹¹ And for this cause God will send upon them the efficacy of error, so that they shall themselves believe the lie: ¹² that they may all be condemned, who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in iniquity.

¹³ who before was a blasphemer, and a persecutor, and an oppressor. But I obtained mercy, because I did it ignorantly in unbelief: and the grace of our Lord superabounded,

¹ Behold then what manner of love the Father hath bestowed upon us, that we should be called the children of God: though for this reason the world knoweth us not, because it knew not Him.

⁸ He, that loveth not, knoweth not God: for God is love.

²⁰ But we know that the son of God is come, and hath given us understanding, that we may know Him that is true, and we are in Him that is true, and in his son Jesus Christ: He is the true God, and eternal life.
