²⁵ And upon this occasion Jesus opened his mouth and said, "I thank thee, O Father, Lord of heaven and earth, that thou hast hid these things from the wise and knowing, and hast revealed them to babes:

¹⁹ for in those days shall be such affliction as never was from the beginning of the world, unto this day, nor ever shall be.

¹ In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. ² The same was in the beginning with God. ³ By Him were all things made, and without Him was not any one thing made that was made.

²⁴ And when they heard it, they lifted up their voice to God with one accord, and said, Lord, Thou art God, who hast made heaven and earth, and sea, and all things therein:

¹⁵ crying out, and saying, "Sirs, why do ye these things? we also are men subject to the like infirmities with you, and we preach the gospel unto you, that ye may turn from these vanities to the living God, who made the heaven, and the earth, and the sea,

²⁴ The God that made the world and all things therein, being lord of heaven and earth dwelleth not in temples made with hands:

¹⁹ for what is to be known of God is manifest among them, for God hath manifested it to them. ²⁰ Inasmuch as from the first creation of the world, the invisible things of Him, even his eternal power and Godhead, are, if attended to, clearly seen in his works:

³⁶ For of Him, and through Him, and for Him, are all things. To Him be glory for ever. Amen.

⁶ and lords many,) yet to us there is but one God the Father, from whom are all things, and we in Him; and one Lord Jesus Christ, by whom are all things, and we by Him.

⁹ and make all men to see the communication of the mystery, which from the ages past hath been hid in God, who created all things by Jesus Christ;

¹⁶ for by Him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are on the earth, the visible and the invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers; all were created by Him, and for Him. ¹⁷ He is before all, and by Him all things subsist.

² whom He hath appointed heir of all things, by whom also He made the worlds.

¹⁰ And in another place, "Thou, Lord, in the beginning hast founded the earth, and the heavens are the works of thy hands:

⁴ For every house is built by some one: and He who built all things is God.

³ By faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, for the things which are seen were not made of things which appear.

⁵ For they are willingly ignorant of this, that by the Word of God the heavens were made of old, and the earth too from the water, and subsisting on the water.

¹ That which was from the beginning, which we have heard, which we have seen with our eyes, which we have contemplated, and our very hands have felt concerning the Word of life,

¹⁴ And to the angel of the church of the Laodiceans write, These things saith the Amen, the faithful and true witness, the beginning of the creation of God; I know thy works, that thou art neither cold nor hot:

¹¹ and cast their crowns before the throne, saying, Worthy art thou, O Lord, to receive glory and honor and power; for thou hast created all things, and by thy will they exist, and were created.

⁶ lifted up his hand to heaven, and sware by Him that liveth for ever, who created the heaven and the things therein, and the earth and the things that are in it, and the sea and the things therein, that there shall be time no longer:

⁷ and people, saying with a loud voice, Fear God, and give glory to Him; for the time of his judgement is come: and worship Him that made the heaven, and the earth, and the sea, and the fountains of waters.

⁶ And He said to me, It is done. I am the Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end: I will give to him that is athirst of the fountain of the water of life freely.

¹³ I am the Alpha and the Omega, the beginning and the end, the first and the last.
