¹⁷ let him who is on the house-top not go down to take away the things out of his house;

²⁵ Therefore, I say to you, be not anxious for your life, what ye may eat, or what ye may drink; nor for your body, what ye may put on. Is not the life more than the food, and the body than the raiment?

²⁷ What I am saying to you in the darkness, speak ye in the light; and what ye hear in the ear, preach on the housetops.

¹⁵ And let him who is on the house not come down, nor enter in, to take anything out of his house; ¹⁶ and let him who is in the field not turn back to take his garment.
