⁹ If we confess our sins, He is faithful and righteous to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

¹ My little children, these things I write to you, that ye may not sin. And, if any one sin, we have an Advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ, the Righteous. ² And He is the propitiation for our sins; and not for ours only, but also for the whole world.

¹⁶ If anyone sees his brother sinning a sin not to death, he shall ask, and God will give him life for those that sin not to death. There is a sin to death: I do not say that he shall make request concerning this.
