⁴ as it has been written in the book of the words of Isaiah the prophet, "The voice of one crying in the wilderness, 'Prepare ye the way of the Lord; make straight His paths.

¹⁷ And there was given to Him a book of the prophet Isaiah; and, opening the book, He found the place where it had been written,

¹⁶ Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another with psalms, hymns, spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts, to God.

¹⁵ and that, from a babe, you have known the holy Scriptures, which are able to make you wise unto salvation through faith that is in Christ Jesus. ¹⁶ Every Scripture inspired of God is also profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness; ¹⁷ that the man of God may be complete, thoroughly furnished for every good work.
