2 Timothy 4 Cross References - Worrell

1 I charge you before God, and Christ Jesus, Who is to judge the living and the dead, and by His appearing and His Kingdom, 2 preach the word; be urgent in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort, with all long-suffering and teaching. 3 For there will be a time when they will not endure the healthful teaching; but, having itching ears, they will for themselves heap up teachers according to their own desires; 4 and will turn away their ears from the truth, and will turn aside to the fables. 5 But be sober in all things, suffer hardship, do the work of an evangelist, fully accomplish your ministry. 6 For I am already being offered, and the time of my departure has arrived. 7 I have contended in the noble contest, I have finished the course, I have kept the faith; 8 henceforth there is laid up for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the Righteous Judge, will recompense to me in that day, and not only to me, but also to all those who have loved His appearing. 9 Give diligence to come to me speedily; 10 for Demas forsook me, having loved this present age, and went to Thessalonica; Crescens, to Galatia; Titus, to Dalmatia. 11 Only Luke is with me. Taking Mark, bring him with you; for he is useful to me for ministering. 12 But Tychicus I sent to Ephesus. 13 The cloak which I left in Troas with Carpus, when you come, bring, and the books, especially the parchments. 14 Alexander, the coppersmith, showed me much evil; the Lord will reward him according to his works: 15 of whom do you also beware; for greatly did he withstand our words. 16 In my first defense, no one stood by me, but all forsook me. May it not be laid to their account! 17 The Lord stood by me, and strengthened me, that through me the proclamation might be fully announced, and that all the gentiles might hear; and I was delivered out of the mouth of a lion. 18 The Lord will deliver me from every evil work, and will bring me safe into His heavenly Kingdom; to Whom be the glory for ever and ever. Amen. 19 Salute Prisca and Aquila, and the household of Onesiphorus. 20 Erastus abode in Corinth; but Trophimus I left in Miletus sick. 21 Give diligence to come to me before winter. 11 For, behold this very thing—that ye were made sorry after a godly manner—what diligence it wrought in you; yea, what defense of yourselves; yea, what indignation; yea, what fear; yea what earnest desire; yea, what zeal; yea, what avenging! In everything ye proved yourselves to be pure in the matter.

2 Corinthians 8:6

6 so that we exhorted Titus that, as he began before, so also he would finish in you this same grace also.

2 Corinthians 8:16

16 But thanks be to God Who putteth the same diligence for you into the heart of Titus.

2 Corinthians 11:27

27 in toil and hardship, in watchings often, in hunger and thirst, in fastings often, in cold and nakedness.

2 Corinthians 12:9

9 And He hath said to me, "My grace is sufficient for you; for My power is made perfect in weakness." Most gladly, therefore, will I rather glory in my weaknesses, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.

2 Corinthians 13:13

13 All the saints salute you. 14 The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the communion of the Holy Spirit, be with you all.

Galatians 1:2

2 and all the brethren with me, to the assemblies of Galatia:

Galatians 1:5

5 to Whom be the glory for ever and ever. Amen.

Galatians 2:1-3

1 Then, fourteen years later, I went up again to Jerusalem with Barnabas, taking with me Titus also. 2 And I went up according to revelation, and laid before them the Gospel which I preach among the Gentiles; but privately to those of repute, lest by any means I should run, or had run, in vain. 3 But not even Titus, who was with me, being a Greek, was compelled to be circumcised;

16 So, then, have I become your enemy, because I tell you the truth?

6 But let him who is being taught in the word share with him who is teaching, in all good things.

18 The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with your spirit, brethren. Amen.

Ephesians 4:11

11 And He gave some to be apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers;

Ephesians 6:21

21 But, that ye also may know my affairs, what I am doing, Tychicus, the beloved brother and faithful minister in the Lord, will make all things known to you;

Ephesians 6:24

24 Grace be with all who love our Lord Jesus Christ in incorruptness.

Philippians 1:7

7 even as it is right for me to think this in behalf of you all; because ye have me in your heart, both in my bonds and in the defense and confirmation of the Gospel, all of you being partakers with me of the grace.

Philippians 1:12-14

12 Now I wish you to know, brethren, that the things relating to me have resulted rather in the furtherance of the Gospel; 13 that my bonds became manifest in Christ in the whole praetorium, and to all the rest; 14 and that the greater part of the brethren, having become confident in the Lord by my bonds, are much more bold to speak the word of God without fear.

Philippians 1:17

17 but the other proclaim Christ of contention, not sincerely, thinking to add tribulation to my bonds.

Philippians 1:23

23 but I am constrained by the two; having the desire to depart and be with Christ, for it is far better;

Philippians 2:17

17 But even if I am offered as a libation upon the sacrifice and ministry of your faith, I rejoice, and I rejoice with you all;

Philippians 2:21

21 for all are seeking their own, not the things of Jesus Christ.

Philippians 2:26-27

26 since he was longing after you all, and was in great distress, because ye heard that he was sick. 27 For, in fact, he was sick, near to death; but God had mercy on him, and not on him only, but on me also, that I might not have sorrow upon sorrow.

Philippians 3:2

2 Beware of the dogs, beware of the evil-workers, beware of the mutilation.

Philippians 3:13-14

13 Brethren, I do not account myself to have laid hold of it; but one thing I do, forgetting the things which are behind, and reaching forth to the things before. 14 I am pressing on toward the mark, for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.

Philippians 4:22

22 All the saints salute you, but especially those who are of Caesar's household.

5 because of the hope laid up for you in Heaven, of which ye heard before in the word of the truth of the Gospel,

Colossians 1:25

25 of which I was made a minister, according to the dispensation of God, which was given to me for you, to fulfill the word of God,

Colossians 1:28-29

28 Whom we proclaim, warning every man, and teaching every man in all wisdom, that we may present every man perfect in Christ; 29 to which end I am toiling also, striving according to His working, which is working in me with power.

Colossians 3:4

4 When Christ, our Life, shall be manifested, then shall ye also with Him be manifested in glory.

10 Aristarchus, my fellow-captive, salutes you, and Mark, the cousin of Barnabas, concerning whom ye received commandments (if he come to you, receive him),

Colossians 4:14-15

14 Luke, the beloved physician, and Demas, salute you.

17 And say to Archippus, "Take heed to the ministry which you received in the Lord, that you fulfill it." 18 The salutation, with my hand, of Paul. Remember my bonds. Grace be with you.

1 Thessalonians 1:10

10 and to wait for His Son from Heaven, Whom He raised from the dead, Jesus, Who delivers us from the coming wrath.

1 Thessalonians 2:11-12

11 as ye know how we dealt with each one of you, as a father with his own children, exhorting you, and encouraging you, and testifying, 12 that ye should walk worthily of God, Who is calling you into His own Kingdom and glory.

1 Thessalonians 4:15-16

15 For this we say to You, in a word of the Lord, that we, the living who remain over to the coming of the Lord, shall in nowise precede those who fell asleep; 16 because the Lord Himself will descend from Heaven, with a shout, with a voice of an archangel, and with a trumpet of God; and the dead in Christ shall rise first;

1 Thessalonians 5:4

4 But ye, brethren, are not in darkness, that the day should overtake you as a thief;

1 Thessalonians 5:6

6 So, then, let us not sleep as do the rest, but let us watch and be sober.

1 Thessalonians 5:14

14 And we exhort you, brethren, admonish the disorderly, encourage the fainthearted, support the weak, be long-suffering toward all.

1 Thessalonians 5:20

20 Despise not prophesyings;

1 Thessalonians 5:23

23 And the God of peace Himself sanctify you wholly; and may your spirit and soul and body be preserved entire, without blame at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.

2 Thessalonians 1:5-6

5 a proof of the righteous judgment of God, to the end that ye may be accounted worthy of the Kingdom of God, for which ye also suffer; 6 since it is a righteous thing with God to recompense tribulation to those who cause you tribulation;

2 Thessalonians 1:6

6 since it is a righteous thing with God to recompense tribulation to those who cause you tribulation; 7 and to you who suffer tribulation, relief with us, at the revelation of the Lord Jesus from Heaven with the angels of His power, in flaming fire, 8 awarding vengeance to those who know not God, and to those who obey not the Gospel of our Lord Jesus; 9 who, indeed, shall pay a penalty, eternal destruction from the presence of the Lord and from the glory of His might, 10 when He shall come to be glorified in His saints, and to be marveled at in all who believed (because our testimony to you was believed), in that day.

2 Thessalonians 2:8

8 And then shall be revealed the lawless one, whom the Lord Jesus will slay with the breath of His mouth, and will bring to nought by the manifestation of His presence;

2 Thessalonians 3:3

3 But the Lord is faithful, Who will establish you, and guard you from the evil one.

1 Timothy 1:3

3 As I exhorted you to continue in Ephesus, when I was journeying into Macedonia, that you might charge certain ones not to teach a different doctrine, 4 nor to give heed to fables and endless genealogies; which, indeed, occasion disputes rather than God's dispensation, which is in faith, so do I now.

1 Timothy 1:10

10 for fornicators, for sodomites, for man-stealers, for liars, for false swearers; and whatever else is contrary to healthful teaching;

1 Timothy 1:12

12 I have thanks for Him Who empowered me, Christ Jesus our Lord, because He accounted me faithful, putting me into His service,

1 Timothy 1:17

17 Now to the King of the ages, incorruptible, invisible, only God, be honor and glory forever and ever. Amen. 18 This charge I commit to you, child Timothy, according to the prophecies going before in respect to you, that you may war with these the noble warfare;

1 Timothy 1:20

20 of whom is Hymenaeus and Alexander, whom I delivered up to Satan, that they might be taught not to blaspheme.

1 Timothy 4:1-3

1 But the Spirit expressly saith, that in later times, some will fall away from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and to teachings of demons, 2 in hypocrisy of men speaking lies, branded in their own conscience with a hot iron; 3 forbidding to marry, and commanding to abstain from foods, which God created for reception with thanksgiving by those who believe and have full knowledge of the truth.

1 Timothy 4:7

7 but refuse the profane and old wives fables, and exercise yourself unto godliness;

1 Timothy 4:12

12 Let no one despise your youth; but become a model for believers, in speech, in conduct, in love, in faith, in purity. 13 Until I come, give heed to the reading, to the exhortation, to the teaching.

1 Timothy 4:15-16

15 Attend to these things; give yourself wholly to them; that your progress may be manifest to all.

1 Timothy 4:15

15 Attend to these things; give yourself wholly to them; that your progress may be manifest to all. 16 Take heed to yourself, and to the teaching; continue in them; for, doing this, you will save both yourself and those who hear you.

1 Timothy 5:20

20 Those who sin reprove before all, that the rest also may have fear. 21 I solemnly charge you before God, and Christ Jesus, and the elect angels, that you observe these things without prejudice, doing nothing by partiality.

1 Timothy 6:10

10 For the love of money is a root of all the evils; which some reaching after wandered away from the faith, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows.

1 Timothy 6:12

12 Fight the good fight of the faith, lay hold on the eternal life, to which you were called, and confessed a good confession before many witnesses. 13 I charge you before God who preserves alive all things, and Christ Jesus Who before Pontius Pilate testified a good confession, 14 that you keep the commandment, unsullied, irreproachable, until the appearing of our Lord Jesus Christ,

1 Timothy 6:16

16 Who only hath immortality, inhabiting light unapproachable, Whom no man ever saw or is able to see; to Whom be honor and dominion eternal. Amen. 17 Charge those who are rich in this present age, not to be high-minded, nor to have their hope set on the uncertainty of riches, but on God, Who giveth us richly all things for enjoyment;

1 Timothy 6:19

19 treasuring up for themselves a good foundation for the future, that they may lay hold on that which is really life. 20 O Timothy, guard the deposit; turning away from the profane babblings, and oppositions of that which is falsely called knowledge; 21 which some professing erred concerning the faith. Grace be with you.

2 Timothy 1:4

4 longing to see you, remembering your tears, that I may be filled with joy;

2 Timothy 1:8

8 Be not ashamed, therefore, of the testimony of our Lord, nor of me His prisoner; but suffer hardship with me for the Gospel, according to the power of God,

2 Timothy 1:12

12 For which cause I am suffering also these things; but I am not ashamed; for I know Whom I have believed, and have become persuaded that He is able to guard my deposit unto that day.

2 Timothy 1:14

14 The good deposit guard through the Holy Spirit Who dwelleth in us. 15 You know this, that all in Asia turned away from me; of whom are Phygellus and Hermogenes. 16 The Lord give mercy to the house of Onesiphorus; because he ofttimes refreshed me, and was not ashamed of my chain; 17 but, being in Rome, he diligently sought me, and found me 18 (the Lord grant to him to find mercy from the Lord in that day); and in how many things he ministered at Ephesus, you know very well.

2 Timothy 1:18-18

18 (the Lord grant to him to find mercy from the Lord in that day); and in how many things he ministered at Ephesus, you know very well.

2 Timothy 2:3

3 Suffer hardship with me, as a good soldier of Christ Jesus.

2 Timothy 2:5

5 And, if also one contends in the games, he is not crowned, unless he contends lawfully.

2 Timothy 2:10

10 Therefore, I suffer all things for the sake of the elect, that they also may obtain the salvation which is in Christ Jesus, with eternal glory.

2 Timothy 2:14

14 Of these things put them in remembrance, solemnly charging them before God, that they engage not in word-battles to no profit, to the subverting of those who hear.

2 Timothy 2:21

21 If, therefore, one fully purify himself from these, he shall be a vessel unto honor, sanctified, serviceable to the Master, prepared for every good work.

2 Timothy 2:25

25 in meekness correcting those opposing themselves, if peradventure God should give them repentance to a full knowledge of the truth,

2 Timothy 3:1-6

1 But know this, that in the last days perilous times will come; 2 for men will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, ungrateful, unholy, 3 without natural affection, implacable, slanderers, intemperate, fierce, no lovers of good, 4 traitors, reckless, puffed up, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God; 5 holding a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from these also turn away. 6 For of these are those who creep into houses, and lead captive silly women laden with sins, and led on by manifold desires,

2 Timothy 3:8

8 And as Jannes and Jambres withstood Moses, so also do these withstand the truth; men utterly corrupted in mind, disapproved concerning the faith.

2 Timothy 3:10

10 But you did closely follow my teaching, conduct, purpose, faith, patience,

2 Timothy 3:10-12

10 But you did closely follow my teaching, conduct, purpose, faith, patience, 11 persecutions, sufferings; what manner of things happened to me in Antioch, in Iconium, in Lystra; what persecutions I endured, and out of them all the Lord delivered me.

2 Timothy 3:11

11 persecutions, sufferings; what manner of things happened to me in Antioch, in Iconium, in Lystra; what persecutions I endured, and out of them all the Lord delivered me. 12 Yea, and all who wish to live godly in Christ Jesus will be persecuted.

2 Timothy 4:1

1 I charge you before God, and Christ Jesus, Who is to judge the living and the dead, and by His appearing and His Kingdom,

2 Timothy 4:8

8 henceforth there is laid up for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the Righteous Judge, will recompense to me in that day, and not only to me, but also to all those who have loved His appearing. 9 Give diligence to come to me speedily; 10 for Demas forsook me, having loved this present age, and went to Thessalonica; Crescens, to Galatia; Titus, to Dalmatia.

2 Timothy 4:13

13 The cloak which I left in Troas with Carpus, when you come, bring, and the books, especially the parchments.

2 Timothy 4:16

16 In my first defense, no one stood by me, but all forsook me. May it not be laid to their account!

2 Timothy 4:21

21 Give diligence to come to me before winter. Eubulus salutes you, and Pudens, and Linus, and Claudia, and all the brethren.

Titus 1:4

4 to Titus, a true child according to the common faith: grace and peace from God the Father and Christ Jesus our Savior.

Titus 1:13

13 This testimony is true. For which cause, reprove them sharply, that they may be sound in the faith; 14 not giving heed to Jewish fables, and commandments of men who turn away from the truth.

Titus 2:13

13 looking for the blissful hope and appearing of the glory of the great God and our Savior Jesus Christ;

Titus 2:15

15 These things speak and exhort and reprove with all authority. Let no one despise you.

Titus 3:12

12 When I shall send Artemas to you, or Tychicus, give diligence to come to me to Nicopolis; for there I have decided to winter.

Philemon 1:24

24 as do Mark, Aristarchus, Demas, Luke, my fellow-workers. 25 The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with your spirit.

Hebrews 9:27-28

27 And inasmuch as it is appointed to men once to die, but after this comes judgment; 28 so also Christ, having once for all been offered to bear the sins of many, will, to those who are eagerly waiting for Him; appear a second time apart from sin, unto salvation.

Hebrews 9:28

28 so also Christ, having once for all been offered to bear the sins of many, will, to those who are eagerly waiting for Him; appear a second time apart from sin, unto salvation.

Hebrews 11:33

33 who, through faith, subdued kingdoms, wrought righteousness, obtained promises, shut the mouths of lions,

Hebrews 12:1-2

1 Therefore, having so great a cloud of witnesses surrounding us—having thrown off every encumbrance and the easily besetting sin—let us run with patience the race lying before us; 2 looking away to the Author and Perfecter of our faith, Jesus; Who, in consideration of the joy lying before Him, endured the cross, despising shame, and hath taken a seat at the right hand of the throne of God.

Hebrews 13:17

17 Obey those who are your leaders, and submit to them; for they watch in behalf of your souls, as those who are to give an account; that they may do this with joy, and not with sighing; for this would be unprofitable for you.

Hebrews 13:21

21 make you perfect in every good thing to do His will, working in you that which is well-pleasing in His sight, through Jesus Christ; to Whom be the glory forever. Amen. 22 But I exhort you, brethren, bear with the word of exhortation; for, indeed, I wrote to you in few words.

Hebrews 13:25

25 Grace be with you all.

James 1:12

12 Happy is a man who endures temptation; because, when he becomes approved, he will receive the crown of life, which He promised to those who love Him.

James 2:5

5 Hearken, my beloved brethren, did not God choose the poor of the world to be rich in faith, and heirs of the kingdom which he promised to those who love Him?

1 Peter 1:4

4 to an inheritance incorruptible, and undefiled, and unfading; kept in Heaven for you, 5 who are being guarded by God's power, through faith unto a salvation ready to be revealed in the last time;

1 Peter 1:7

7 that the proving of your faith—being much more precious than gold that perishes, but is proved through fire—may be found unto praise and glory and honor at the revelation of Jesus Christ;

1 Peter 1:13

13 Wherefore, having girded up the loins of your mind, being sober, hope perfectly for the grace to be brought to you at the revelation of Jesus Christ;

1 Peter 3:15

15 but sanctify Christ as Lord in your hearts; ready always for an answer to every one who asks of you an account concerning the hope that is in you, yet with meekness and fear;

1 Peter 4:5

5 who shall render an account to Him Who is ready to judge the living and the dead.

1 Peter 5:4

4 and, when the Chief Shepherd is manifested, ye will obtain the unfading crown of glory.

11 To Him be the dominion forever and ever. Amen.

1 Peter 5:13

13 The assembly in Babylon, elected with you, and Mark my son, salute you. 14 Salute ye one another with a kiss of love. Peace be to you all who are in Christ.

2 Peter 1:11

11 for thus shall there be richly supplied to you the entrance into the eternal Kingdom of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

2 Peter 1:14-15

14 knowing that speedy is the putting off of my tabernacle, as also our Lord Jesus Christ signified to me. 15 And I will also give diligence that at all times ye may be able, after my departure, to perpetuate the remembrance of these things. 16 For, not as having followed after cunningly-devised stories, did we make known to you the power and presence of our Lord Jesus Christ, but as having been made spectators of His majesty. 17 For He received from God the Father honor and glory, when such a voice was borne to Him from the Excellent Glory, "This is My Son, the Beloved, in Whom I took delight";

2 Peter 2:1-3

1 But there arose false prophets also among the people, as among you also there will be false teachers, who, indeed, will stealthily bring in destructive heresies, denying even the Master Who bought them, bringing upon themselves swift destruction: 2 and many will follow their lascivious doings; by reason of whom the way of the truth will be defamed; 3 and, in covetousness, will they, with feigned words, make merchandise of you; for whom the judgment from of old lingers not, and their destruction slumbers not.

2 Peter 2:9

9 the Lord knoweth how to deliver the godly out of temptation, and to keep the unrighteous enduring punishment unto the day of judgment;

2 Peter 2:15

15 leaving the right way, they were led astray, having followed the way of Balaam, the son of Beor, who loved the wages of unrighteousness,

1 John 2:15-16

15 Love not the world, nor the things in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him; 16 because all that is in the world—the desire of the flesh, the desire of the eyes, and the vain-glory of life—is not of the Father, but is of the world.

1 John 2:28

28 And now, little children, abide in Him; that, if He shall be manifested, we may have confidence, and not be put away from Him with shame at His coming.

1 John 5:4-5

4 because all that has been begotten of God overcomes the world. And this is the victory that overcomes the world, our faith. 5 And who is he that overcomes the world, but he that believes that Jesus is the Son of God?

1 John 5:16

16 If anyone sees his brother sinning a sin not to death, he shall ask, and God will give him life for those that sin not to death. There is a sin to death: I do not say that he shall make request concerning this.

2 John 1:13

13 The children of your elect sister salute you. 14 but I hope shortly to see you, and we will speak mouth to mouth. Peace be to you. The friends salute you. Salute the friends by name.

Revelation 3:2

2 Become watchful, and strengthen the things that remain, which were about to die; for I have not found your works complete before My God.

Revelation 3:8

8 "I know your works. Behold, I have set before you a door opened, which no one can shut; because you have a little power, and kept My word, and did not deny My name.

Revelation 3:10

10 Because you kept the word of My patience. I also will keep you from the hour of trial, which is about to come upon the whole inhabited earth, to try those who dwell upon the earth.

Revelation 3:19

19 As many as I love, I reprove and chasten. Be zealous, therefore, and repent.

Revelation 4:4

4 and around the throne were twenty-four thrones, and on the thrones twenty-four elders sitting, arrayed in white garments, and on their heads crowns of gold.

11 And I saw a great white throne, and Him Who was sitting thereon, from Whose face the earth and the heaven fled away; and no place was found for them. 12 And I saw the dead, the great and the small, standing before the throne; and books were opened; and another book was opened, which is the book of life; and the dead were judged out of the things that were written in the books, according to their works. 13 And the sea gave up the dead that were in it, and Death and Hades gave up the dead that were in them; and they were judged, every one, according to their works. 14 And Death and Hades were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death, even the lake of fire. 15 And, if anyone was not found written in the book of life, he was cast into the lake of fire.

Revelation 22:20

20 He Who testifieth these things saith, "Yea; I come quickly." Amen; come, Lord Jesus! 21 The grace of the Lord Jesus be with the saints. Amen.
