¹ Would that ye could bear with me in some little foolishness! Yea, indeed, ye do bear with me.

¹⁷ And Jesus, answering, said, "O faithless and perverted generation! How long shall I be with you? Bring him here to Me."

¹⁸ Let no one deceive himself. If any one among you thinks that he is wise in this world, let him become a fool, that he may become wise.

⁸ Have ye already become satisfied? Did ye already become rich? Did ye reign without us? I wish, at least, that ye did reign, that we also might reign with you.

¹⁰ We are fools for Christ's sake, but ye are wise in Christ; we are weak, but ye are strong; ye are highly esteemed; but we are without honor.

¹³ For whether we were beside ourselves, it was to God; or whether we are of sober mind, it is for you.

⁴ For, if he that comes preaches another Jesus, Whom we did not preach; or, if ye receive a different spirit, which ye did not receive, or a different Gospel, which ye did not accept; well do ye bear with him.

¹⁶ I say again, let no one think me foolish; but, if ye do, yet as foolish receive me, that I too may glory a little. ¹⁷ What I am speaking I speak not according to the Lord, but as in foolishness, in this confidence of boasting.

¹⁹ for ye gladly bear with the foolish, being yourselves wise.

²¹ I speak by way of dishonor, as though we were weak; but in whatever anyone is bold (I speak in foolishness), I also am bold.
