³³ No one lights a lamp and puts it in a cellar or under a peck-measure, but he puts it on the lampstand, that the people who come in may enjoy the light.

¹⁵ People do not light a lamp and put it under a peck-measure but on a lampstand, and it gives light to all that are in the house. ¹⁶ Let your light shine before people in such a way that they may see your good deeds, and praise your Father in heaven.

²⁷ What I speak to you in the dark, tell in the light, and what you hear whispered in your ears, you must proclaim from housetops.

That will give me ground for boasting on the day of Christ, because neither my career nor my labor has been a failure.
