⁹ After saying this, He was taken up while they were looking at Him, and a cloud swept under Him and carried Him out of their sight.

¹⁹ So the Lord Jesus, after He had spoken to them, was caught up into heaven and took His seat at God's right hand.

²⁷ Then they will see the Son of Man coming on a cloud in overwhelming power and splendor.

⁸ Concerning this the Scripture says: "He led a host of captives, when He went up on high, and granted gifts to men." ⁹ What does "He went up" mean, except that He had first gone down into the lower regions of the earth? ¹⁰ The very One that went down has gone up, too, far above all the heavens, to fill the universe. ¹¹ And He has given some men to be apostles, some to be prophets, some to be evangelists, some to be pastors and teachers, ¹² for the immediate equipment of God's people for the work of service, for the ultimate building up of the body of Christ,

⁷ See! He is coming on the clouds, and every eye will see Him, even the men who pierced Him, and all the tribes of the earth will lament over Him. Even so. Amen.

¹² And they heard a loud voice from heaven say to them, "Come up here." And they went up to heaven in a cloud, and their enemies looked on as spectators.

⁴ These are the men who have not been defiled by relations with women, for they are as pure as virgins, These are the men who follow the Lamb wherever He goes. These have been redeemed from among men as the first fruits for God and the Lamb,
