⁴⁶ Blessed [is] that servant, whom his Lord when he cometh, shall find so doing.

³⁴ Than shall the king say unto them on his right hand, Come, ye blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the World.

³⁷ Blessed [are] those servants, whom the Lord when he cometh shall find watching: verily I [say] unto you, that he shall gird himself, and make them sit down to meat, and will come forth and serve them.

²¹ For to me to live [is] Christ, and to die [is] gain. ²² But whether I live in the flesh, this [is] worth my while; yet what I shall choose, I wot not. ²³ But I am in a strait between two, having a desire to depart, and to be with Christ; which is far better:

⁶ For I am now ready to be offered, and the time of my departure is at hand. ⁷ I have fought the good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith. ⁸ Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, will give me at that day: and not to me only, but unto them also that love his appearing.

¹³ Yea, I think it meet, as long as I am in this tabernacle, to stir you up, by putting [you] in remembrance: ¹⁴ Knowing that shortly I must put off [this] my tabernacle, even as our Lord Jesus Christ hath shewed me. ¹⁵ Moreover, I will endeavour, that you may be able after my decease, to have these things always in remembrance.

¹⁹ I know ty works, and charity, and faith, and service, and thy patience, and thy works; the last more than the first.

¹⁵ Behold, I come as a thief. Blessed [is] he that watcheth, and keepeth his garments, lest he walk naked, and they see his shame.
