⁴⁵ For who is a faithful and wise servant, whom the Lord hath made ruler over his houshold, to give them meat in season?

²⁴ Therefore, whosoever heareth these sayings of mine, and doth them, he shall be likened unto a wise man who built his house upon a rock:

¹⁶ Behold, I send you forth as sheep in the midst of wolves: be ye therefore wise as serpents, and harmless as doves.

⁵² He saith unto them, Therefore every scribe who is instructed in the kingdom of the heavens, is like unto a man that is an householder, who bringeth forth out of his treasure things new and old.

² And five of them were foolish and five wise.

²¹ His lord said unto him, Well done, thou good and faithful servant; because thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will set thee over many things: enter thou into the joy of thy Lord.

³⁵ For I was an hungred, and ye gave me meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me drink; I was a stranger, and ye took me in: ³⁶ Naked; and ye clothed me: I was sick, and ye visited me: I was in prison, and ye came unto me. ³⁷ Then shall the righteous answer him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee an hungred, and fed [thee]? or thisty, and gave [thee] drink? ³⁸ When saw we thee a stranger, and took [thee] in? and naked, and clothed [thee]? ³⁹ Or when saw we thee sick, or in prison, and came unto thee? ⁴⁰ And the King shall answer, and say unto them, Verily I say unto you, In as much as ye have done [it] unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done [it] unto me.

⁴¹ And Peter said unto him, Lord, speakest thou this parable unto us? ⁴² And the Lord said, Who then is that wise and good steward, whom [his] lord shall make ruler over his houshold, to give [them their] portion of meat in due season? ⁴³ Blessed[is] that servant, when his lord when he cometh, shall find him so doing.

¹⁰ He that his faithful in the least, is faithful also in much: and he that is unjust in a little, is unjust also in much. ¹¹ If therefore ye have not been faithful in the unrighteous mammon, who will commit to your trust the true? ¹² And if ye have not been faithful in that which is anothers, who shall give you that which is your own?

¹⁷ And he said unto him, Well done, thou good servant; because thou hast been faithful in a very little, Have thou authority over ten cities.

¹⁵ When therefore they had dined, Jesus said to Simon Peter, Simon [son] of John, lovest thou me more that these? Jesus (Read: Peter) saith unto him, Yes, Lord; thou knowest that I love thee. Jesus saith unto him, Feed my sheep. ¹⁶ the Lord saith to him the second time, Simon [son] of John, lovest thou me? He saith unto him, Yes, Lord; thou knowest that I love thee. He saith unto him, Feed my sheep. ¹⁷ He saith unto him the third time, Simon [son] of John, lovest thou me? Peter was grieved, because he said unto him the third time, Lovest thou me? He saith unto him, Lord, thou knowest all men; thou knowest that I love thee. He saith unto him, Feed my sheep.

¹ And I, brethren, could not speak unto you as unto spiritual, but as unto carnal, as unto babes in Christ. ² I have fed you with milk, and not with meat; for hitherto ye were not able; neither yet now are ye able.

¹ Let a man so account of us, as of the ministers of Christ, and stewards of the mysteries of God. ² Moreover it is required in stewards, that a man be found faithful.

¹¹ And he hath given some, apostles: and some, prophets: and some, evangelists: and some, pastors and teachers; ¹² For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ: ¹³ Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ;

¹² And I thank him who hath enabled me by Christ Jesus our Lord: for that he counted me faithful, putting me into the ministry;

² And the things that thou hast heard of me among many witnesses, the same commit thou to faithful men, who shall be able to teach others also.

⁵ And Moses verily [was] faithful in all his house as a servant, for a testimony of those things which were to be spoken after;

¹⁰ As every man hath received the gift, minister the same one to another, as good stewards of the manifold grace of God. ¹¹ If any man speak, as the oracles of God; if any man minister, as of the ability which God giveth: that God in all things may be glorified through Jesus Christ; to whom [be] praise and dominion for ever and ever. Amen.

¹ The elders therefore who are among you I exhort, who am a fellow elder, and a witness of the sufferings of Christ, and also a partaker of the glory that shall be revealed: ² Feed the flock of God which is among you, taking the oversight not by constraint, but willingly according to God, not for filthy lucre, but of a ready mind; ³ Neither as being lords over the clergy; but being ensamples to the flock.

¹³ I know where thou dwellest, where satans seat [is]: and thou holdest fast my name, and hast not denied my faith, even, in those days [wherein] Antipas my faithful martyr was slain among you, where satan dwelleth.
