⁸ Philip saith unto him, Lord, shew us the Father, and it sufficeth us.

⁸ Blessed [are] the pure in heart: for they shall see God.

⁴³ The day following, He would go forth into Galilee, and findeth Philip; and Jesus saith unto him, Follow me. ⁴⁴ Now Philip was of Bethsaida, the city of Andrew and Peter. ⁴⁵ Philip findeth Nathanael, and saith unto him, We have found him of whom Moses did write in the law, and the prophets; Jesus of Nazareth, the son of Josephs. ⁴⁶ And Nathaniel said unto him, can any good thing be from Nazareth? ⁵ When Jesus then lift up [his] eyes, and saw a great company come unto him, he saith also unto Philip, Whence shall we buy bread that these may eat? ⁶ And this he said to prove him: for he himself knew what he would do. ⁷ Philip answered him, So much bread as two hundred denarii will buy is not sufficient for them, that every one may take a little.

²¹ They came therefore to Philip, who was of Bethsaida of Galilee, and asked him, saying, Sir, we would see Jesus. ²² Philip cometh and telleth Andrew: Again Andrew and Philip tell Jesus.

²⁵ These things have I spoken unto you in proverbs, The hour cometh when I shall no more speak unto you in proverbs, but I shall tell you plainly of the Father.

³ And there shall be no more curse: but the throne of God and of the Lamb shall be in it, and his servants shall serve him. ⁴ And they shall see his face; and his name [shall be] in their foreheads. ⁵ And there shall be no night any more, and they shall not have need of the light of a candle, and the light of the sun; for the Lord God will give them light: and they shall reign for ever and ever.
