⁷ Jesus answered and said unto him, What I do thou knowest not yet, but thou shalt know hereafter.

¹⁶ These things his disciples minded not at the first: But when Jesus was glorified, then they remembered that these things were written of him, and they had done these things unto him.

¹⁰ Jesus saith unto him, he that is washed, needeth not to have his head washed, but his feet only, for he his clean all over, and ye are clean, but not all. ¹¹ For Jesus knew who should betray him. ¹² So after he had washed their feet, and had taken [his] garments, and was set down again, he said unto them, Know ye what I have done to you?

³⁶ He therefore having received the sop, went immediately out: and it was night,

³⁶ Simon Peter said unto him, Lord, whither goest thou? Jesus said to him, Whither I go thou canst not follow me now; but thou shalt follow afterwards.

²⁶ But the Comforter, the Holy Ghost, whom my Father will send in my name, he will teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I shall say unto you.

⁷ Be patient therefore, brethren, unto the coming of the Lord. Behold, the husbandman waiteth for the precious fruits of the earth, and hath long patience for it, until he receive the former and latter rain. ⁸ Be ye also patient; stablish your hearts: for the coming of the Lord draweth nigh. ⁹ Grudge not one against another, my brethren, lest ye be judged: behold, the judge standeth before the door. ¹⁰ Brethren, ye have the prophets, who have spoken in the name of the Lord, for an example of suffering affliction, and of patience. ¹¹ Behold, we count them happy who have endured. Ye have heard of the patience of job, and have seen the end of the Lord: that the Lord is very pitiful, and of tender mercy.
